Gagosian Hirst

This gallery is very huge. There are many of his works. This should be a big plan for this artist.
The theme of his discussion is British traffic signs. As an international student, I can't tell which colours he uses symbolise which institutions, which may be fire trucks, hospitals, police cars or garbage cans. But his idea was very attractive to me, and he also took a few photos of police cars and fire trucks to expand his language. He uses special materials, not traditional oil painting materials such as acrylic, watercolour and spray paint. Instead, I use special reflective plastic, which I can't distinguish, but this idea absolutely affects me. I will definitely try to use this special material in the future, because it is very conspicuous, attractive, shiny and hard. At the same time, there are many displays in the exhibition hall similar to bricks or express delivery, like a pile of searched "evidences”. Maybe the artist is discussing about the police or law enforcement personnel.

What influenced me most in this exhibition was that he repeatedly printed a large number of two-colour contrasting or warning colours, and he raised a very controversial topic. This artist is a good at colour and topic.
